Precision
Marine began in 1985 when Cork Martusewicz bought Northern Propeller
on Bay Street in Cape Vincent. In 1992, Precision Marine moved to
the beautiful St. Lawrence River at Peos Bay. Precision Marine
incorporated as Precision Marine at Peos Bay, Inc. in 2003. What
began as a little prop shop has grown over 26 years to a full
service marina offering personable, individualized attention to boat
owners.
Located directly
across from the northern end of Carleton Island, Precision Marine at
Peos Bay has a launch ramp, dockage, customer bathroom and shower, and parking.
Our shop offers full marine engine service, hull repair,
aluminum and stainless steel welding, propeller reconditioning. We have a
fully-stocked parts department and our little marine store is
stocked with a variety of goods. Storage is available on site.
Cork Martusewicz began his nautical training as an
electrician in the Coast Guard. His college background in mechanical
engineering includes extensive training in internal combustion
engines. He has multi-state training in propeller repair. He is the
one to consult when re-powering or enhancing your boat’s performance
with a different engine or propeller. Cork is technician-certified
through OMC-Bombardier, Mercruiser, and Volvo.
Our shop technician has 25 years of service experience, welding and machine shop training,
and is also a veteran marine technician.
Precision Marine’s fiberglass technician has 50 years of
fiberglass work experience.
